JJ Sound and Events is a production company aimed at creating and staffing events that foster creativity and diversity in the arts. Technical staff will be placed at concert venues, local theatre companies, and various festivals of all kinds. Through event planning, the company's mission is to host events that create community and safe spaces for all who attend. These events vary from concerts to partner dancing events and much more to come.

MISSION STATEMENT

Through mentoring, the company's goal is to raise the next generation of technical engineers who are diverse and competent in their field. This is accomplished by prioritizing technical staff who normally face barriers into entering the industry such as sexism, racism, ableism, and classism. No one works for free. There is a zero tolerance policy for discrimination. We also provide advocacy for those who do experience discrimination based on sexual or gender identity, race, class, or physical ability.
